Singing musical adventuress Amanda Homi was born in London and resides in NYC. Her colorful songs add a dash of exotic flavor to a pop sensibility, reflecting her globe-trotting musical collaborations.

She has released two solo albums, "Drumgirls" and "Till I Reach Bombay" with a new album to be released in Spring 2025. Amanda hosted and co-produced with Jake Holmes a documentary about Latin Grammy lifetime achievement award recipient, the folkloric Colombian singer Toto La Momposina.  La Colombiana Passing the Torch, was shot on location in Colombia. Amanda has performed and/or recorded with such formidable singer-songwriters and musicians as Jackson Browne,  Ray Lamontagne, Jane Siberry, Maxwell, Mavis Staples, They Might Be Giants, Michael Brecker, John Pizzarelli, Grover Washington, Jr., Pete Seeger, Toots Thielmans and Toots Hibbert. Amanda is also a featured singer on Everett Bradley’s Holidelic CD and show.

As a member of the all female trio, VKB band, singing and playing multiple instruments, she tours frequently across Europe.

She was the 2015 Independent Music Awards best story song recipient for “Ladri di Biciclette” a song about a bicycle theft in NYC gone awry, written in the style of an Italian Pizzica.
